KELVEX-220 (Cap sensitive explosive)
For tough blasting conditions in both O/C and U/G (non-coal) mines ideal for good fragmentation. Used for Hard rock blasting, Tunneling, Quarrying, well sinking etc. Product available in 25mm dia and above.
 
KELVEX-P (Cap sensitive explosive)
Specially designed for ANFO priming, also used for emulsion blasting. Used for all types of tough blasting like Tunneling, Quarrying, Well sinking etc. Product available in 25mm and above dia. This is also supplied in 50mm and above dia couplable plastic tubes (CPT) for dredging work under deep saline water conditions.
 
KELVEX-800 (Cap sensitive explosive)
For use in difficult and hard strata conditions for good fragmentation. Can be used alone or in combination with booster sensitive water gel column charge explosives. Best suitable for using with Kelvan extra to eliminate toe problems. Product available in 83mm dia and above. This is also supplied in 50mm and above dia Couplable Plastic tubes (CPT) for seismic exploration and deep-water blast holes.
 
KELVEX-700 (Cap sensitive explosive)
Non-aluminized Booster Explosive. Specially used for fier area mines where the borehole temperature is more than normal. Suitable for all strata conditions including hard rock. Supplied in 83mm dia and above. This is also supplied in 76mm and above dia coupable plastic tubes (CPT) for shallow watery holes and for seismic exploration.

..::::: SENSITIVITY
All small dia.& large dia. cap-sensitive explosives and special products are sensitive to no.6 Detonators, Non electric detonators (NONEL) and 10gms/metre detonating cord. Large dia. Non- Cap sensitive Explosives may be primed with all types of cap sensitive water gel explosives.

..::::: PACKING
All type cartridge explosives are packed in fiberboard boxes of 25 kg. Net weight. Number of cartridges in a box depends upon the cartridge weight. All boxes are stamped for Batch No. Date of mfr, Cartridge Weight and Number of cartridges. The stamped cartridges are strapped and stored separately. Seismic explosives are packed in couplable plastic tubes of desired size.

All other explosives are packed in LDPE tubing with clipped ends. Kelvex Watergel explosives are safer to handle, transport and store due to their lower sensitivity to friction, impact and fire. Another advantage of Kelvex explosives is considerably lower generation of after-blast noxious gases.

Bulk explosive matrix is transported to the charging site through specially built BMD vehicles. These BMD vehicles are fitted with necessary systems to mix the emulsion matrix with other required ingredients to form explosive. Mixing and charging of explosive is continuous process and very small quantity of explosive is handled at any time. The quantity of explosive charged to the borehole is continuously monitored and recorded in the inbuilt recording system. Once the hole is filled with pre-determined quantity of explosive the charging hose is moved to the other hole for charging.
